REPORT OF POSTING OF AGENDA: Agenda available for public access at the City Hall exterior bulletin board (west side of Council Chamber) and the Planning Services counter by 4:00 pm on Thursday, November 7, 2013. A posting of this Agenda can be found on the City’s website at: www.palmspringsca.gov. Pursuant to G.C. Section 54957.5 the designated office for inspection of public records in connection with the public meeting of the Planning Commission is the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, located at 3200 East Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Springs, California.
ACCEPTANCE OF THE AGENDA: The Planning Commission will discuss the order of the agenda, may amend the order, note abstentions and request Consent Calendar items be removed from the consent calendar for discussion.
PUBLIC COMMENTS: This time has been set aside for members of the public to address the Planning Commission on Consent Calendar and other agenda items; and items of general interest within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Commission. Please note that the Planning Commission is prohibited from taking action on items not listed on the posted agenda. Three (3) minutes is allowed for each speaker. Testimony for Public Hearings maybe offered at this time or at the time of the hearing.

RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Planning Commission Minutes of October 9, 2013 and October 23, 2013.
2. PUBLIC HEARINGS:
2A. PRAETOR INVESTMENT LLC, FOR AN AMENDMENT TO A PREVIOUSLY APPROVED PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT 333 AND TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP 35236 FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A 200-ROOM HOTE, 50 RESIDENTIAL UNITS AND A PARKING STRUCTURE LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF AVENIDA CABALLEROS AND AMADO ROAD, ZONE PD 333, SECTION 14. (CASE NO. 5.1132-PD 333AMND).
ADDENDUM TO DOLCE CEQA DETERMINATION ANALYSIS
(Mitigated Negative Declaration No. 200700845)
RECOMMENDATION: Review and consider the Addendum to Mitigated Negative Declaration No. 200700845, together with the prior Mitigated Negative Declaration; Approve the Addendum; Approve the Amendment to Planned Development District 333 (PD333); and Recommend approval of amended Tentative Parcel Map 35236 (TPM 35236) to the City Council.

2B. APPLICATION BY THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS FOR A ZONE TEXT AMENDMENT FOR LAND USE PERMIT NOTIFICATION AND CONCURRENT CASE PROCESSING. (CASE 5.1312 ZTA)
RECOMMENDATION: That the Planning Commission approves Case 5.1312 ZTA, an amendment request by the City of Palm Springs.

4A. MICHAEL KING, OWNER FOR A MAJOR ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW OF A NEW 4,537-SQUARE FOOT CUSTOM HOUSE ON A HILLSIDE LOT TO INLCUDE AN ADMINISTRATIVE MINOR MODIFICATION REQUESTING AN INCREASE IN BUILDING HEIGHT AT 2355 MILO DRIVE. (CASE NO. 3.2938 MAJ, & 7.1402 AMM)
RECOMMENDATION: Approve with conditions.
