On November 15, 2021, the City received an Intent to Convert application for the Bel Air Greens Golf Course. This web page is a summary of the application and is intended to help inform the public of the details of the application and the regulatory ordinances under which golf course conversions are processed.

Golf course conversions to other uses are regulated in the City of Palm Springs under Zoning Code Section 93.23.20 “Conversion of Golf Courses”. Applicants follow a two-part process: (1) Intent to Convert application and (2) Formal Conversion application. 

The applicant has completed the Intent to Convert application.  The Planning Commission will conduct a study session to review and comment on the Intent to Convert application on July 27, 2022 (Study Session agenda available soon).  The study session is for information only and no approvals will be granted at that time.
