Join us to experience the myths and realities of pirates past and present. Presented by Professors John and Donna Mollan, the program will be from 2:00-4:00 p.m. in the Cornelia White Community Room at the Welwood Murray Memorial Library.
“Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate’s life for me!” How much do we really know about these freebooters and privateers? Join the Mollans in this exciting presentation as you experience the myths and realities of pirates as they exist in the past and present.
Professors John and Donna Mollan are entertainers, lecturers and travel writers who produce and present their own shows. They each have over thirty years of teaching experience from grade school through graduate school levels and both hold postgraduate degrees. This pleasant couple is well-versed in a wide variety of subjects. They offer enjoyable, fast-paced multimedia presentations that appeal to diverse interests. They currently work as professional lecturers on cruise ships worldwide as well as presenting their “edutainment” shows at various other venues throughout the USA.
