NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the City Council of the City of Palm Springs will conduct a Special Meeting beginning at 9:30 A.M., Thursday, September 22, 2016, in the Second Floor Club Room, at the Hard Rock Hotel, 150 South Indian Canyon Drive, Palm Springs.  The purpose of the Special Meeting is to discuss the following items:

1.    PUBLIC COMMENT:
Pursuant to the Brown Act public comment is limited to ONLY those Items that appear on the Notice and Agenda of the Special Meeting.  The public comment period will be limited to 20-minutes; the time allowed for each speaker will depend on the number of speakers requesting to address the City Council.

2.    TEAM BUILDING SESSION FOR THE CITY COUNCIL AND MANAGEMENT STAFF, ESTABLISHING THREE YEAR GOALS AND SIX MONTH STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES:
RECOMMENDATION: Facilitated by Marilyn Snider, review mission statement, review and identify three-year goals, and six-month strategic objectives.

3.    ADJOURNMENT:
The City Council will adjourn at approximately 4:00 p.m. to the next regular meeting Wednesday, October 5, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. Council Chamber, preceded by Closed Session, Small Conference Room, City Hall, 3200 East Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Springs.
