Start your new year off right; learn how to reduce harmful chemicals in your home by creating safer cleaning products containing essential oils. Rosemary Flaherty, RN/BSN IAC (Integrative Aromatherapy Certified) will share the basics. The program will be from 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. in the Cornelia White Community Room at the Welwood Murray Memorial Library (WMML) located at 100 S. Palm Canyon Dr. in downtown Palm Springs. Rosemary Flaherty RN BSN has been a practicing nurse for over 30 years. She has had multiple carrier opportunities that included employments at UCLA, UCI and EMC. Recently retired from Eisenhower Medical Center where she worked as a Breast Nurse Coordinator for eight years. She also presented lectures related to essential oil usage for the cancer patients at the Lucy Curci Cancer Center. After retiring, she successfully completed Aromatherapy Certification from the Institute of Integrative Aromatherapy.
