Health Lecture: CBD for Pain Relief: What the Science Says

Eisenhower Health

Doctor Jonathan Bechard MD

Presented by Dr. Jonathan Bechard, learn important considerations when making decisions about the use of cannabis for pain relief. The lecture will begin at 6:30 p.m. in The Learning Center. This program is presented in partnership with Eisenhower Health.

Most people believe that cannabis use is safe; however, safe and effective are two different things. When it comes to treating pain, does CBD actually work, and how well? That may depend on the type of pain you are experiencing and the CBD you use. Join Dr. Jonathan Bechard to learn what the recent studies show about the use of cannabis for effective pain management.

Jonathan Bechard, MD, Board Certified in Internal Medicine, is seeing patients at the Eisenhower Health Center at Rimrock in Palm Springs. Dr. Bechard is proud to serve the LGBTQ community. After receiving his undergraduate degree at Loma Linda University, Dr. Bechard went on to earn is medical degree at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He then completed a residency program in internal medicine at Michigan State University. For nearly twenty years, Dr. Bechard has been an internist in Kalispell, Montana at the foothills of Glacier National Park. “I am excited to be returning to warm southern California,” states Dr. Bechard, who was raised in Hemet. “As a primary care physician, I enjoy the longitudinal relationships that develop with patients over time.”
