Join us on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at 3:30 p.m. for the Author Talk & Presentation: The Backstories of the Palm Springs Windmills with Thomas Spiglanin, Ph.D. This book attempts to capture the backstories of the Palm Springs windmills, from the California Wind Rush of the 1980s through the present. It also explains the evolution of the wind industry by exploring the wind turbine designs and discusses the essential aspects to help us understand their function as we appreciate their beauty.

Dr. Tom Spiglanin worked in technical education in the aerospace industry for more than 30 years and is currently the Tour Operations Manager for the Palm Springs Windmill Tours.
