Painting Nature

Join us on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. for the Activity: Painting Nature. Learn the basics with artist Janis Commentz. Each participant will receive an 8x10 canvas, paints and brush, and instructions and tips for painting nature scenes during the class. The class size will be limited to 16 people so you must sign up in advance to attend.

 Janis Commentz is known for her color-intense palette and loose brush strokes of figures and landscapes.  Janis Commentz is a painter living in the Mojave Desert where she teaches classes and workshops for the Desert Institute in Joshua Tree. She has a B.A. in art and British Literature from the University of Redlands and M.A. in Education - from CSUSB. She exhibits in Southern California

Assisted Listening Devices (ALDs) are instruments designed to amplify sounds to make it easier for persons who are hearing‑impaired to enjoy a library program.
