Film Screening: 50 Years of Fabulous
Celebrating the life and contributions of Legendary Drag Queen and Queer Activist Jose Sarria (1922 – 2013). The film will be from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the Welwood Murray Memorial Library in the Cornelia White Community Room. Everyone is welcome but seating is limited.
This film recounts the rich history of the Imperial Council, the oldest LGBT charity organization in the world. Founded in San Francisco by renown activist, drag queen and performer Jose Sarria, the Council has helped shape LGBT life and social history in San Francisco and beyond throughout the last five decades.
Assisted Listening Devices (ALDs) are instruments designed to amplify sounds to make it easier for persons who are hearing‑impaired to enjoy a library program.
