Learn to play Chinese Mah Jong with fellow game enthusiasts. Very similar to Gin Rummy but with tiles instead of cards, Mah Jong is a fun and social game that's easy to learn and addictive to play. Class is 2 hours and you’ll be playing in no time. If you've ever been curious to know what this game is all about, now is the time to learn!

Instructor Lise Baadh is a Mah Jong enthusiast, player, and instructor. She plays weekly with her friends and has taught over 200 students to play the Chinese version of Mah Jong. Whether you just want to get a feel for the game or do a deep dive into scoring and strategies, Lise can make the learning easy and fun. 

Assisted Listening Devices (ALDs) are instruments designed to amplify sounds to make it easier for persons who are hearing‑impaired to enjoy a library program.
