Palm Springs Genealogical Society Meeting

 Write Your Own Lifetime History

Palm Springs Genealogical Society Logo

This event is presented by the Palm Springs Genealogical Society with guest speaker Deboran Anderson Ladd. This FREE program will be from 10:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in The Learning Center.

Learn how to write your own family history to pass on to future generations.

Deborah Anderson Ladd retired and joined the Moreno Valley Scribes writers group who meet weekly at the Moreno Valley Senior Center and went from writing professional technical information manuals, to writing about real life stories. She has developed a passion facilitating others on how to write their own lifetime stories, as well as her own and she can teach you, too! She has been published in the Moreno Valley Aged to Perfection, Part III book, and has presented her works at the Moreno Valley Library in various author showcases.

Most recently she presented her, “Write your Own Life Time Story” to the Moreno Valley Genealogy Society. As a member of the Moreno Valley Genealogy Society she believes that researching family histories and genealogy helps families create meaningful ancestry relationships with those who have come before us, and allows us to share these intriguing discoveries and stories with family and friends and future descendants.

Assisted Listening Devices (ALDs) are instruments designed to amplify sounds to make it easier for persons who are hearing‑impaired to enjoy a library program.
