This is the first time in a while the City has held its own blood drive, and we’re hoping for a good turn-out!

Appointments are scheduled every 15 minutes and three people can donate during these time slots. The blood drive is open to City staff and residents, and if we fill all of the appointment slots, we have the potential to donate 96 pints of blood in just one day. Our previous one-day donation record was 68 pints.

 Another good reason to donate ... the City is participating in the annual 9 Cities Challenge Blood Drive, which runs through the end of August, and the City has won the challenge the past three years. Let’s keep that streak going!
