Palm Springs Sustainable and Wild:
Hiking 101 in Palm Springs
A New Lecture Partnership with the Oswit Land Trust.
Hiking in the Coachella Valley is a great way to exercise, experience the outdoors, and connect with your community. Palm Springs offers a wide variety of hikes/walks, from flat and easy to steep and rugged, and many are on Oswit Land Trust properties. This free workshop is designed to help people get outside and enjoy nature, regardless of experience and ability. Presented by Dan Coleman and Rich Peregrin, Board Members, and Shirl Donahue, President of the Coachella Valley Hiking Club. For more information email David Paisley DavidP@OswitLandTrust.org.
Assisted Listening Devices (ALDs) are instruments designed to amplify sounds to make it easier for persons who are hearing‑impaired to enjoy a library program.
Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity of the City of Palm Springs, should contact the ADA Coordinator, as soon as possible but no later than 48 hours before the scheduled event.
