Local film archivists/historians Melissa Dollman and Devin Orgeron (Deserted Films) will guide viewers from the silent film era to the shows and films we’re watching today ... a fun, informative way to EXPAND your February viewing list!!! And because it’s a Deserted Films event, there will definitely be some home movies! Includes screening of a rare, archival short form the Deserted Films archives!
Deserted Films is a non-profit created by local residents and film experts Melissa Dollman and Devin Orgeron. They are dedicated to collecting, caring for and making accessible films shot in the general Palm Springs area — as well as Southern California, surrounding desert regions.
Assisted Listening Devices (ALDs) are instruments designed to amplify sounds to make it easier for persons who are hearing‑impaired to enjoy a library program.
Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity of the City of Palm Springs, should contact the ADA Coordinator, as soon as possible but no later than 48 hours before the scheduled event.
