Palm Springs Sustainable and Wild:
Bringing Nature Home
A New Lecture Partnership with the Oswit Land Trust.
Presented by Dr. Cameron Barrows and Katie Barrows. Explore ways to bring nature home by making your garden a haven for wildlife (including lizards!), attract pollinators, increase diversity, conserve water, and build climate resilience. And it's all good for you and other human inhabitants too. Cameron and Katie will share ideas and suggestions for creating your own little wildlife preserve in your yard. Learn more about native plants that will attract wildlife, rocks, and other enhancements to create habitat, and low maintenance tips for your landscape. For more information or to RSVP, email David Paisley DavidP@OswitLandTrust.org.
Assisted Listening Devices (ALDs) are instruments designed to amplify sounds to make it easier for persons who are hearing‑impaired to enjoy a library program.
Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity of the City of Palm Springs, should contact the ADA Coordinator, as soon as possible but no later than 48 hours before the scheduled event.
