Community Visioning Workshop Notice
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 3, 2011

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the City Council of the City of Palm Springs, will attend and participate in the City of Palm Springs Community Visioning Workshops, a community design process to develop a conceptual master plan including public space and amenities for the Desert Fashion Plaza and surrounding properties in Downtown Palm Springs. The series of three community visioning workshops will be facilitated by the outside firm of MIG, Inc., and no action will be taken by the City Council at the community visioning workshops.

The first workshop was held on Wednesday, January 26, 2011, and more than 200 community members turned out, the second workshop will be to focus on areas of consensus and disagreement identified at the first workshop.

The second workshop will be held on Thursday, February 3, 2011, 6:00 p.m., and the third will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2011, 6:00 p.m., at the Palm Springs Convention Center, Primrose Room, 277 North Avenida Caballeros, Palm Springs.

It is the intention of the City of Palm Springs to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in all respects.
