Vista Chino has fully reopened in Palm Springs. However, the final section of the road in Cathedral City from Avenida Maravilla to Date Palm Drive remains closed. Cathedral City officials inform that they hope to reopen that section by Thursday.

Palm Springs city crews are still assessing the damage to North Indian Canyon Drive and Gene Autry Trail.

Gene Autry has received significant damage to the roadway – and the damage along North Indian Canyon Drive is even more severe. Crews will be working over the next several days to completely assess the extent of the damage. Residents are encouraged to sign up for public safety alerts and monitor the City’s social media for updates.
