Looking for a site to host your next party?  The Demuth Community Center may be just the place for you. Affordable rates and plenty of parking to hold your next retirement party, family reunion, wedding reception, Bar Mitzvah, Bat Mitzvah, Confirmation, or Quinceañera. A signed contract and refundable cleaning deposit required.

The James O. Jessie Desert Highland Unity Center (JOJDHUC) is nested in a beautifully landscaped 10-acre park located in the neighborhood of Desert Highland/Gateway Estates. This facility offers affordable rental rates. The multi-purpose center houses a gymnasium, meeting rooms, and kitchen.  If you want to have an outdoor event, the park facilities consist of lighted athletic field and basketball court, as well as a picnic and playground area. A few events held at the JOJDUHC have been wedding receptions, Quinceañeras, basketball tournaments, and other family gatherings. From hosting a sweet sixteen to a family reunion, this facility can fit your need.

The best kept secret in Palm Springs is the Palm Springs Leisure Center! Home to the City’s Recreation Division this outstanding complex offers much to the visitor and local alike. The Leisure Center is constructed with five different rooms, offering a variety of options to our rental clients. The Leisure Center is handicapped accessible. Restrooms and an outdoor drinking fountain are featured in the complex. The Leisure Center can be rented in conjunction with the Palm Springs Pavilion, making the entire area your conference/special event home away from home.

Community Room: This very popular room has a multipurpose function,  accommodating up to 60 guests. The room is designed as a classroom or meeting room with tables, chairs and chalkboard, but it can easily convert to a party area. It has sliding glass doors that open to a private outdoor patio. The room has two sinks, a large counter top work space, stove and oven.

Craft Room: If you are looking for a carpeted room for yoga classes, special demonstrations or martial arts, this room is a great choice. It can accommodate 40 people. Arrangements can be made to use the exercise mats located in this room

Dance Studio: Headquarters to many dance and exercise classes and programs, this room gets quite a workout! It is one of our busiest rooms, featuring a 2,700 square foot hardwood dance floor, mirrored walls, ballet barre, and sound system. Ideal for dances and exhibitions, this room can accommodate up to 90 people.

Parks Interested in utilizing one of our Palm Springs Parks for your next event? We offer a variety of parks with BBQ pits, picnic groves, pickleball courts, basketball courts, tennis courts, volleyball courts, playgrounds, and walking trails. With 6 or more people in your party a permit is needed, more than 50 people require a fee.

The Palm Springs Pavilion is a unique rental facility located in the Sunrise Park Complex. The Pavilion is known valley-wide for its wonderful 10,000 square foot hardwood dance floor. A multi-use hall, the Pavilion is the host location to the annual Line Dance Festival, Crown City Cat Show and the American Contract Bridge League. It has accommodated numerous dances, weddings, Quinceañeras, employment and educational testing, cultural celebrations, dance recitals, military concerts, and so much more!

Special Features: A 10,000 square foot hardwood dance floor, it is the only one of its kind in Palm Springs. Commercial kitchen, consisting of tall side by-side refrigerators, ice machine, stove, warming ovens, and large sinks. Sorry, no freezer. A 30’ x 30’ stage with dressing rooms. Air conditioned and comes equipped with 6-foot rectangular tables and chairs. Handicapped accessible, including restrooms and drinking fountains. Plenty of parking space available.
