The City of Palm Springs "Friends of the City" volunteer program helps us provide services and programs to the community.  The City's volunteer program encourages citizen participation in support of community needs.  Volunteers also benefit by providing expertise and talent to City programs while gaining a greater understanding of local government and strengthening the community's bond.

The efforts of our volunteers help build our community and make Palm Springs a better place to live, work and enjoy.  Volunteers provide assistance with animal care, emergency planning, community safety, green initiatives, information, tours, arts and crafts, child development, special events, administrative functions and much more.
