A wide variety of special events and activities have chosen to make Palm Springs their home due to the fantastic weather, the welcoming community and the event-friendly atmosphere of the city.  Annual events in Palm Springs include real parades, festivals, sporting events, and many community-based events. Each of these events help to contribute to the distinct atmosphere found only in the City of Palm Springs.

The City of Palm Springs recognizes that arts and cultural events are a vital contributor to the City’s economic infrastructure and are a crucial component in the development of the City’s unique identity. The City has a long history of partnering with organizations to provide a variety of events throughout the year.  These events include the Palm Springs International Film Festival, Modernism Week, Tour de Palm Springs Bicycle Rides and  so many more.  Our City produced parades include the award winning Palm Springs Festival of Lights Parade, and the nationally recognized Palm Springs Veterans Day Parade.  We have a history of excellence and we strive to bring that spirit of welcome and celebration to all of our events.
