Historic Resources Inventory & Context Statement
The Palm Springs City Council commissioned this citywide survey to identify and evaluate historic resources that exist throughout the City from the period of native American settlement through 1969.
Identification of historically significant places and the reasons why they are important helps inform the City Council, the Planning Commission and City staff in evaluating new development proposals and opportunities for enhancing the beauty and livability of Palm Springs through adaptive reuse, preservation and integration of historic resources.
