CITY DEPARTMENT WORKS WITH 52 ORGANIZED NEIGHBORHOODS OF PALM SPRINGS (ONE-PS)
- In 2005, the City Council formalized a process for officially recognizing neighborhood organizations throughout Palm Springs. City officials have increased opportunities for citizen involvement and built strong partnerships between City Hall and the community through these recognized neighborhood organizations.
- Established by City Ordinance in April, 2005, the Office is staffed by the City's Office of Neighborhoods Manager, Denise Goolsby, within the Department of the City Manager.

- Although the Office of Neighborhoods is a City office it is the Organized Neighborhoods of Palm Springs (ONE-PS) that sets the agenda and works to address matters of concern to citizens and other neighborhood interests. ONE-PS is comprised of representatives of Neighborhood Organizations that have become officially recognized by the City through an application process. Currently there are 52 recognized Neighborhood Organizations.
If you live in an area without a neighborhood organization, we hope you will help get one started.
Our City is committed to community building and civic engagement. We encourage you to join us and become involved!
