REPORT OF THE POSTING OF AGENDA:  This agenda was available for public access at the City Hall bulletin board (west side of Council Chamber) by 9:00 pm, Thursday, November 2, 2023, and posted on the City’s website as required by established policies and procedures.

ACCEPTANCE OF THE AGENDA:  The Architectural Review Committee will discuss the order of the agenda, may amend the order, note abstentions and request Consent Calendar items be removed from the consent calendar for discussion.

PUBLIC COMMENTS:  This time has been set aside for members of the public to address the Architectural Review Committee on the consent calendar and other agenda items; and items of general interest within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Committee.  Although the Architectural Review Committee values your comments, pursuant to the Brown Act, it generally cannot take any action on items not listed on the posted agenda.  Three (3) minutes assigned for each speaker.

1A.     APPROVAL OF MINUTES:  SEPTEMBER 18, 2023, OCTOBER 16, 2023 

            RECOMMENDATION:  Approval.

 1B.     A REQUEST BY CANNABIS DISPENSARY VIBE FOR A SIGN PERMIT APPLICTION FOR TWO WALL SIGNS ON AN EXISTING BUILDING LOCATED AT 19486 NEWHALL STREET, ZONE M-2, (CASE SNP-2023-0074) (AR)

                                RECOMMENDATION: Approve Case SNP-2023-0074 as submitted.

2.                  NEW BUSINESS:

 2A.      A REQUEST BY KAIDENCE GROUP, LLC FOR A MAJOR ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW FOR A PROPOSED DRIVE-THROUGH COFFEE SHOP ON A 0.46-ACRE PARCEL LOCATED AT 2466 NORTH PALM CANYON DRIVE, (APN 504-250-031) ZONE: PD 113, GENERAL PLAN:  MIXED-USE. (CASE AR-2023-0083, RELATED CASES DP-2023-0018, CUP-2023-0020, VAR-2023-0007.) (KL)

                                 RECOMMENDATION: Approve Case AR-2023-0083 subject to conditions. 

2B.    A REQUEST BY DAP HEALTH FOR A MINOR ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW OF REVISIONS TO THE EAST ELEVATION OF CLINIC BUILDING LOCATED AT 1695 NORTH SUNRISE WAY, ZONE PDD 281, CASE 5.0934. (GM).

                              RECOMMENDATION: Approve Case 5.0934 East Elevation subject to conditions.

ADJOURNMENT:  The Architectural Advisory Committee of the City of Palm Springs will adjourn to the next regular meeting at 5:30 pm on Monday, December 4, 2023, at 3200 East Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Springs.
