Pursuant to the Government Code Section 54957.5(b)(2) the designated office for inspection of public records in connection with the public meeting of the Historic Site Preservation Board is the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, at 3200 East Tahquitz Canyon Way. REPORT OF POSTING OF AGENDA: Agenda is available for public access at the City Hall exterior bulletin board (west side of Council Chamber) and the Planning Services counter by 4:00 pm on August 5, 2013.

ACCEPTANCE OF THE AGENDA: The Historic Site Preservation Board will discuss the order of the agenda, may amend the order and note abstentions.

PUBLIC COMMENTS: This time has been set aside for members of the public to address the Historic Site Preservation Board on agenda items and items of general interest within the subject matter jurisdiction of the City. Although the Historic Site Preservation Board values your comments, pursuant to the Brown Act, it generally cannot take any action on items not listed on the posted agenda. There will be three (3) minutes assigned for each speaker.

1A. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: MINUTES FROM THE JULY 9, 2013 MEETING.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve.

2. CERTIFICATE OF APPROVAL REQUEST:

2A. A CERTIFICATE OF APPROVAL REQUEST BY BRANDENBERG OASIS, LLC FOR REPAIR AND REPAINT AT THE OASIS HOTEL TOWER AND CASITAS BUILDING, A CLASS 1 HISTORIC SITE. (A CEQA CLASS 31 “HISTORIC RESOURCE RESTORATION/REHABILITATION” CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION) AT 133-139 SOUTH PALM CANYON DRIVE, ZONE CBD (CASE 3.1908 MAA / HSPB #10 / KL).
RECOMMENDATION: Approve subject to Conditions.
