Traffic Data
One of the Traffic Management Center’s duties is the collection and dissemination of traffic data. Traffic data is collected from various sources including private development trip generation studies and citywide traffic studies.
We do not collect traffic count information on state or county maintained streets. To obtain this information, you must contact Caltrans - District 8 or the Riverside County Transportation Department depending on the area where the street is located.

Annual Speed Data Summary by Year
The Traffic Management Center is charged with maintaining the speed limit on city streets. The following information is past speed data used for setting the speed limits in accordance with state law. You can see how speeds are set per California Vehicle Code.
We do not collect traffic speed information on state or county maintained streets. To obtain the most current data, you must contact Caltrans - District 8 or the Riverside County Transportation Department depending on the area where the street is located.
