Dixon Resources Unlimited was contracted by PS Resorts to provide an updated downtown parking study. Working with the City of Palm Springs, Dixon Resources hosted two in-person meetings and two virtual meetings in September 2024. The presentation and a virtual meeting is below for reference.

The City of Palm Springs currently contracts with LAZ Parking to provide parking enforcement services. LAZ Parking's responsibility is to enforce the City's downtown, on-street and parking lot program. This includes the enforcement of parking related ordinances, statutes, and codes as required and where required by the City Manager. Typical violations include:

• All legally designated handicapped parking areas, on and off street
• All time-restricted on-street parking
• All no parking anytime areas
• Vehicles parked on sidewalks
• Vehicles parked too close to fire hydrants, driveways, stop signs, intersections, or crosswalks
• Vehicles parked facing the wrong way
• Green, yellow, white and red zone restricted parking
• Improper parking

The City of Palm Springs contracts with Data Ticket, Inc., for management of parking citations. For information on your parking citation please contact the Citation Processing Center at the link below. If you wish to contest your parking citation, you may download the contest form here. Please return your completed contest form to Data Ticket's Citation Processing Center as directed on the contest form. Please do not return your contest form to the City of Palm Springs. To use Data Ticket's online service you will need your citation number and the date the citation was issued.

PARKING CITATION REQUEST INSTALLMENT PAYMENT PLAN 

Effective July 1, 2018 payment plans will be available to customers qualified as “very low-income”, this allows qualified motorists to pay for open parking citations in a 3 month period.  The payment plan is available to motorist whose financial situation is confirmed as a “very low-income” household, using guidelines established by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (www.huduser.gov). You may view the low-income payment plan parameters here.  Motorist who apply for the Payment Plan will be asked to provide detailed income information that will allow the City to verify eligibility.
