To pay your fine - DO NOT send payment to the City of Palm Springs; send payments to the Citation Processing Center below.  Payment can be made on line or by phone.  Payment must be received within 15 calendar days of the citation mailing date (if you were given a citation in person, the 15 calendar days begins then).  You must pay your fine first in order to appeal. 

To appeal your citation - Your request for appeal form must be made to the Citation Processing Center and NOT the City of Palm Springs City Clerk's office.

If you choose to appeal this citation,  payment of the fine is mandatory.  However, there is no separate appeal fee required.  Note, currently you cannot request an appeal on line but you can pay on line.  Request for appeal forms must be mailed to the Citation Processing Center.

 FOR SUSPENSION OF AN ESTATE HOME REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE (an Estate Home has 5 or more bedrooms)

If your Estate Home receives 3 citations in a 24 month period, your Land Use Permit will be addressed by the City of Palm Springs Planning Commission at a public meeting hearing.  The Planning Commission will review your Land Use Permit for modification or revocation pursuant to PSMC Section 93.26.16(c).

Pending the outcome of the Planning Commission 's decision at the hearing, the Vacation Rental Compliance Department will review the citations with respect to PSMC 5.25 requirements, including a 2 year suspension of the Vacation Rental Registration Certificate as applicable and pursuant to PSMC Section 5.25.090(b).
