REPORT OF THE POSTING OF AGENDA: The agenda for this meeting was posted for public review at the City Hall bulletin board (west side of Council Chamber) and the Planning Department counter in accordance with applicable law.
ACCEPTANCE OF THE AGENDA: The Historic Site Preservation Board will discuss the order of the agenda, may amend the order, note abstentions and request Consent Calendar items be removed from the consent calendar for discussion.
PUBLIC COMMENT: This time has been set aside for members of the public to address the Historic Site Preservation Board on agenda items and items of general interest within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Board. Although the Historic Site Preservation Board values your comments, pursuant to the Brown Act, it generally cannot take any action on items not listed on the posted agenda. There will be three (3) minutes assigned for each speaker. Testimony for Public Hearings will be taken at the time of the hearing.

RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Historic Site Preservation Board Minutes of June 9, 2015 and July 14, 2015.
2. PUBLIC HEARINGS:
2.A. AN APPLICATION BY THE PALM SPRINGS PRESERVATION FOUNDATION (PSPF) FOR CLASS 1 CLASS 1 HISTORIC DESIGNATION OF 600 THROUGH 750 EAST TAHQUITZ CANYON WAY; “TAHQUITZ PLAZA”, ZONE REO (CASE HSPB 97), (APN’s: 508-055-003 and 508-055-006) (KL)
RECOMMENDATION:
1. Open the public hearing and take testimony.
2. Close the public hearing, direct staff on the Board’s desired action and recommendations. A resolution reflecting the Board’s actions and recommendations will be prepared for final Board approval at its October 13, 2015 meeting.
3. UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
3.A. UPDATE ON THE CITYWIDE HISTORIC RESOURCES GROUP INC.
RECOMMENDATION: Receive and file.
4. NEW BUSINESS:
4.A. AN APPLICATION BY W.C. FORD, OWNER, TO DEMOLISH ALL STRUCTURES AT 1850 SMOKETREE LANE; ROCK 13, 1R, A CLASS 3 HISTORIC SITE (CASE 3.3899 MAA), (ZONE R-1-C) (KL)
RECOMMENDATION: Take no action and allow the demolition.
