Pursuant to Assembly Bill 361, this meeting will be conducted by teleconference and there will be no in-person public access to the meeting location.

REPORT OF THE POSTING OF AGENDA: The agenda for this meeting was posted for public review at the City Hall bulletin board (west side of Council Chamber) by 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 1, 2023 as required by established policies and procedures.
ACCEPTANCE OF THE AGENDA: The Historic Site Preservation Board will discuss the order of the agenda, may amend the order, note abstentions, and request Consent Calendar items be removed from the consent calendar for discussion.
PUBLIC COMMENT: This time has been set aside for members of the public to address the Historic Site Preservation Board on agenda items and items of general interest within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Board. Although the Historic Site Preservation Board values your comments, pursuant to the Brown Act, it generally cannot take any action on items not listed on the posted agenda. There will be three (3) minutes assigned for each speaker. Testimony for Public Hearings will be taken at the time of the hearing.

RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Historic Site Preservation Board Minutes of May 2, 2023.
2. PUBLIC HEARINGS:
2.A. APPLICATION BY THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS FOR POSSIBLE HISTORIC DESIGNATION OF KORAKIA PENSIONE (HOTEL) LOCATED AT 257 SOUTH PATENCIO ROAD (HSPB #138) (SY)
RECOMMENDATION: Continue public hearing to regular HSPB meeting of July 6, 2023.
3. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: None.
4. NEW BUSINESS:
4.A. THE PALM SPRINGS ART MUSEUM INC, REPRESENTED BY SANBORN ARCHITECTURE GROUP INC, REQUESTING APPROVAL TO AMEND THE CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS FOR ALTERATIONS TO “THE ALUMINAIRE HOUSE PROJECT” A CLASS 1 HISTORIC SITE LOCATED AT 101 NORTH MUSEUM DRIVE (HSPB #35/ CASE 3.330) (SY)

RECOMMENDATION: HSPB to re-evaluate the existing perimeter wall around the south parking lot as a character-defining feature to the Palm Springs Art Museum and conditionally approve the proposed perimeter fence design.
