The City of Palm Springs is proud to support the development of affordable housing for residents. The following projects are currently under development. Click the links in the descriptions to get more information on each.
Aloe Palm Canyon
The Project is located at 1479 N. Palm Canyon Drive and will serve low-income seniors (age 62 and up, incomes ranging from 0% to 80% AMI). Aloe will restrict rents for 69 of the 71 units, which includes 25 Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) units. Supportive services provided in PSH units are what distinguish it from other types of affordable housing. The supportive services are intended to ensure housing stability and to maximize each tenant’s ability to live independently. Aloe Palm Canyon began construction June 2023 and is expected to open September 2025. When a waitlist opens, it will appear here. Click the link to learn more about Aloe Palm Canyon!

Through a joint-use agreement, the residents will have access to DAP Health’s wealth of healthcare and educational services including nearby access to on-site clinic and pharmacy, and access to social services and medical services such as case management, mental health, vocational, nutritional educational, computer training, yoga, and legal counseling.
