REPORT OF THE POSTING OF AGENDA: The agenda for this meeting was posted for public review at the City Hall bulletin board (west side of Council Chamber) and the Planning Department counter in accordance with applicable law.
PUBLIC COMMENT: This time has been set aside for members of the public to address the Historic Site Preservation Board on agenda items and items of general interest within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Board. Although the Historic Site Preservation Board values your comments, pursuant to the Brown Act, it generally cannot take any action on items not listed on the posted agenda. There will be three (3) minutes assigned for each speaker. Testimony for Public Hearings will be taken at the time of the hearing.

RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Historic Site Preservation Board Minutes of March 13, 2018.

3.A CASE 5.1328 - CITYWIDE HISTORIC RESOURCE SURVEY - ADDENDA: THEME: COMMUNITIES OF COLOR - NON NATIVE AMERICAN POPULATIONS. (KL)
RECOMMENDATION: Amend the HSPB recommendation for approval by the City Council of Case 5.1328 - The Citywide Historic Resource Survey, to include the theme: “Communities of Color - Non-native American Populations.

4.A. CASE 3.349 MAA / HSPB 93 / HD-5 – SANDCLIFF HOA REQUESTING CERTIFICATE OF APPROVAL FOR INSTALLATION OF SCREEN BLOCK GARDEN WALLS IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS AT THE SANDCLIFF GARDEN HOMES HISTORIC DISTRICT LOCATED AT 1800 SOUTH BARONA ROAD. (KL)
RECOMMENDATION: Approve a blanket approval for the screenblock garden walls as proposed.
4.B. CASE 3.1098 MAA / HSPB 22 – ERIC BOVY, OWNER OF FRENCH MISO CAFÉ, FOR A CERTIFICATE OF APPROVAL FOR EXTERIOR MODIFICATIONS TO COTTAGES 19 & 21 AT LA PLAZA, A CLASS 1 HISTORIC SITE. (KL)
RECOMMENDATION: Approve as submitted.
